15 Jun 2016/2017 Leadership Development Program (LDP) Class is Up and Running
Markon’s 4th annual LDP class has already completed two sessions. At the 22 April kick-off class, facilitators Steve Genn and Leigh Valudes discussed the program goals and planned curriculum followed by a fun (yet sometimes surprising) introductory “two truths and lie” exercise. The class ended by developing individual goals or Key Performance Indexes (KPIs). The KPIs will be monitored and discussed during peer advisory sessions each month.
Markon teaming partner The Clearing opened up the second LDP session on 27 May. Jen Van Meter distributed copies of The Primes, a book of 46 effective strategies to solve any problem. Jen presented several of these strategies though presentation and class exercises. Steve and Leigh wrapped up the afternoon session by discussing the trends and status of the class KPI scoring.
The next LDP Class will be held on 24 June with Steve facilitating learning and self-awareness using individual Myers Briggs (MBTI) assessment tool results.
