Over 500 guests were in attendance on April 25th, 2013 as the Virginia Chamber of Commerce presented their 18th annual FANTASTIC 50 awards. The banquet was held at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia and attended by Markon Solutions Vice Presidents, Ray Carney and Drew Thompson.  For the second year in a row, Markon made the top 20, ranking in at number 16. To be eligible, a company must be privately held with headquarters in Virginia, show sales between $200,000 and $100 million, and demonstrate positive revenue growth and positive net income in its most recent fiscal year over the previous year. Companies are judged on four-year sales revenue history. Our ranking reflects a 2008 – 2011 positive revenue growth of 345%.

The Virginia FANTASTIC 50 Awards is the only program that highlights Virginia’s fastest growing companies on a statewide basis and is open to all types of industries.

Senator Tim Kaine served as the awards present and keynote speaker, addressing some of his achievements in his first 100 days in office and noting the growth that Virginia business has experienced over the past few years.

At the banquet, the Markon team met up with fellow Fantastic 50 companies including Eagle Ray Inc. and their CEO Babs Doherty, Culmen International LLC , Phacil Inc. , and VORSIGHT LLC.

We send a huge thank you to our clients whose support and trust has allowed Markon to grow at such a tremendous pace.  It is our honor to serve you and we appreciate the opportunities that continue to emerge from our partnerships.  Thank you!
