Due to Markon’s specific expertise in tactical wheeled vehicle and engineer equipment systems programs, motor transport, instruction and curriculum, our clients often turn to us for our professional advice on critical program and logistic issues.

Markon has over 75 years of combined experience drafting technical documents in accordance with the major standards used by the Department of Defense, such as; MIL STD 40051-1 and 40051-2 (Preparation of Digital Technical Information for Multi-Output Presentation of Technical Manuals), MIL-STD-38784A (Manuals, Technical: General Style and Format Requirements) and SG-1A (Marine Corps Style Guide).

Proven Performance:

  • Markon’s Department of Defense technical documentation and logistics support office has provided support to Choctaw Defense in McAlester, Oklahoma by developing Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM), paper manuals, training programs, provisioning and engineering documentation for three programs including the Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR) Trailer, MK105 Cargo Trailer for the U.S. Marine Corps and the Unit Water Pod System (Camel II) for the U.S. Army.

  • Markon has provided support to Heil Trailer in Athens, Tennessee and Kaylan Seibert in Gatesville, Texas with IETMs, paper manuals, training programs, provisioning and engineering documentation for the MK2500 Flatrack Refueling Capability for the U.S. Marine Corps.

    Spotlight on Talent:

    Markon’s Department of Defense technical documentation and logistics support office is comprised of talented professionals with personal experience levels ranging from four to 30 years. The staff possesses a variety of talents ranging from certified platform instructors, to program management specialist. Our Electronic Technical Manual authors are extremely proficient with Adobe applications and have received current training in EMS Next Generation.

     

    Nancy McinerneyNancy McInerney
    brings 18 years experience in program management, acquisition and logistics support for Marine Corps tactical wheeled vehicle and engineer systems programs. Before joining Markon, her duties ranged from analyst to task lead with MKI Systems, later acquired by L-3 Communications. McInerney serves as a senior analyst with Markon, using her knowledge of the DOD acquisition arena to help commercial hardware providers fulfill government contract requirements. McInerney is a graduate of Mary Washington College where she received her bachelor’s degree in business administration.

     

    Jason BreidenbachJason Breidenbach
    is a Senior Associate at Markon Solutions. He brings 6 years of experience providing logistics, technical documentation, illustration and graphic design support for the US Marine Corps, US Army, various intelligence agencies and private industry. He has managed projects supporting the Marine Corps Systems Command and private industry. Mr. Breidenbach’s strong relationships with design engineers and government personnel enable him to provide high quality technical support to Markon customers, resulting in years of repeat business. Previously, Mr. Breidenbach supported various Marine Corps programs which streamlined efforts to facilitate delivery to the Warfighter. His efforts directly impacted the ability of combat units to make necessary equipment modifications and complete their mission.

     

    James West
    honorably served twenty years in the United States Marine Corps. Utilizing the skills and expertise learned from being a Motor Transport Chief in the Marines, he acquires the data and breaks down the equipment to create maintenance procedures for technical manuals. James works with the client on completely breaking down the equipment and consolidating all pertinent documentation for provisioning. Additionally, James was a Master Instructor with platform experience that is used to determine instructional requirements and priorities needed for the development of training packages. He also performs training on behalf of the client in multiple locations throughout the country and abroad.
